Terms of Service

Welcome to Centlen. By registering or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Account Registration

You register with a phone number or email address and a password, and the platform assigns you a DID (decentralized identifier) that identifies your account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe. No private key is issued to you or stored by us, so there is no key to lose; if you forget your password, you can reset it with a verification code sent to your registered contact.

2. Usage Rules

• Do not use the app for illegal, abusive, harassing, or fraudulent activities.
• Do not use automated tools to spam or create multiple accounts.
• Do not attempt to reverse engineer or disrupt the service.

3. AI Avatar Feature

You may authorize AI to auto-reply on your behalf. You understand that AI-generated content may not be accurate, and we are not liable for any consequences. You can disable the feature at any time.

4. Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data, including how it is kept within your region. Please review it.

5. Intellectual Property

All code, design, icons, and trademarks belong to Centlen. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

6. Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages.

7. Modifications and Termination

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong (or your local jurisdiction).

Supplement: Data Sovereignty and Digital Life (V5)

• Data sovereignty: your data is stored in your own region (United States / EEA) and is not transferred to our China region. The two regions are physically isolated.
• Digital life: a digital life holds its own DID; its persona and IP belong to you. You may delete, export or freeze it at any time.
• AI-generated content is clearly labeled.
• Minors: we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent (COPPA).
• Your rights under CCPA/CPRA and GDPR: know, access, correct, delete and portability; opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information where applicable; no discrimination for exercising your rights.
• Voice: audio recorded by the device is uploaded to our own servers for recognition, and the original audio is deleted immediately after processing. Transcripts join your conversation history in your region. Voice and conversations are never used to train models, and audio is not sent to third-party speech services.
